Welded Tube

Welded tube represents the initial PAF activity: The Rades site of PAF Company was opened in 1979 and began production in 1981.

This is was an ambitious project specialized in the manufacturing welded steel tubes longitudinally by high frequency HF.

The annual production capacity is 50,000 tons. Opportunities of welded steel tube transformation include farming furniture, mechanical and metal constructions, scaffolding and agricultural greenhouses.

The company was certified ISO 9002 in 1995 and ISO 9001 since 2007 with annual updating depending on the evolution of the norms and standards. PAF works hardly to maintain its brand label and to develop its market’s share part, both, nationally and internationally.

The raw materials used by PAF (Cold Rolled Steel, Hot Rolled Steel, and Galvanized one) are chosen for their compliance with the standards and quality criteria fixed in the internal procedures or requested in customer’s specifications.

Steel is generally bought from international certified Mills which are worldwide recognized.

PAF has set up extremely strict control standards at all levels of production, storage and delivery:

  • Raw material reception: dimensional and quality checking of coils upon arrival at the factory.
  • Slitting Control.
  • HF Welding Control.
  • Calibration and Straightening Monitoring.
  • NDT Tube profile Controlling.
